ALSWiki.org uses Slack, a team communication platform to connect contributors to one another. Using Slack, contributors are able to submit a variety of content such as text, images, or videos for use on the website.
Edits to the content of the website are performed by a small group of editors. This is mostly due to limitations in the website's software, and to reduce the burden on staff from having to supervise and moderate direct edits.
It is hoped that in the future, it will become more realistic to have contributors make direct edits to the website.
Those who wish to become contributors may fill out the form linked below.
Upon filling out the intake form, the team app ALSWiki.org will review the information and contact the individual by email. If approved, the individual will be given access to Slack, and a profile page created on the website.
